Nachdem PunBB verkauft wurde, haben die Entwickler sich "selbstständig" gemacht und FluxBB gegründet. Während die Version 1.3 nicht über das Beta-Stadium hinaus kam, übernahm PunBB die meisten Änderungen bei FluxBB und nannte das ihre finale Version. Die Entwicklung an v1.3 ist bei FluxBB eingestellt worden, wegen ein paar Problemen mit der Architektur der Software. Dafür steht jetzt die finale Version v1.4 kurz vor der Veröffentlichung, die die meisten Funktionen von v1.3 beinhaltet - hauptsächlich mit Ausnahme des Extension-Systems.

Den Standard-Style von v1.3 gibt es auch für v1.4 - zum Beispiel unter dem Namen "OxygenB".

OxygenB - funktioniert auf jeden Fall mit 1.2.*, mit ein paar kleinen Änderungen sicher auch bei v1.4 (wird bald aktualisiert).
